Hi Q,thankyou for your honest opinion,my crossover uses a pair of quad TLO74 op-amps,as recommended by Rod Elliott on his website.I'm using a Buffer,24db Linkwitz Reily crossover, a gain stage and a Linkwitz Transform to drive my sub.Do you know of a better op-amp that I can purchase easily? Here in the uk,I shop at Maplin electronics and they don't stock many op-amps.Or, is it worth buying somthing exotic like most inmates use to upgrade a cd player ,for example?Even the caps and resistors are basic poly layers and metal films, respectivly, and would audio grade caps, polyprops, and say Vishay resistors be worthy for low frequency applications?
Again thankyou for taking the time to reply.
Kind Regards.Mike
