Silver Mica's are the 'fastest' caps and are still preferred by Ham Radio operators. They are also non-inductive, which is extremely impoprtant when dealing with RFI (ceramics and stacked films are also non-inductive) 0.68 uF seems a bit high for shunting RFI. I would parellel a 0.01 uF SM with the 0.68. Hosfelt Electronics is a good source for SM's (www.hosfelt.com)and you can parellel caps to reach the desired value. It is also extremely important when dealing with RFI to keep the caps' leads as short as possible.Happy Listening !
