Re: Replacing Ceramic Cap in Output Low Pass Shunt

Do not assume this is just an audio cap in the signal path.

Unless I have misunderstood, this cap shunts HF switching to ground, not the audio! In that case it's RF performance is the most important, which is probably why a ceramic was chosen - much better than film in this application.
