I am building bass traps and sound boards using rigid fiber glass and wrapping it with batting and then fabric. Understand that Burlap is best due to it's open fabric weave so I purchase some. Wife hates it. So.... I now am about to wrap up the fiberglass board with a fabric which has a close nit.My question is: How much sound absorption will I loose using a close nit fabric cover vs a more open nit?
