It is a three way with outboard crossovers. The internal wires go from solid copper binding posts directly to the drivers. There is 18 awg solid silver to the MF and HF, and four 18 awg solid silver wires to the LF driver, twisted and connected in a star quad configuration. Everything is pretty high quality, and the wire is DH Labs Revelation soild silver with teflon. The mids and highs sound outstanding. The bass is somewhat inconsistent, sometimes very good, sometimes a little lacking. I am trying to see if anyone has experience running solid core wire to LF drivers, or is stranded better? Since the wire and crossovers are somewhat new(less than 100 hours), it may be that further break-in is needed. Would a stranded silver, copper or silver coated copper provide more consistent bass? If so, who makes a decent stranded silver wire?
