If the electrician uses a ground strap on the water line before the water meter, and I add a second ground stap at the same point for my audio circuit, this would be ok.But using two grounding methods, one water line and a second grounding spike could cause shorts and fires from lightening strikes?
I wonder why all the satellite installations I see run a separate grounding spike at a point close to the dish, rather than run a line all the way back to the water line. The installation guys tell me electricity always finds the shortest path to ground. Am I at risk?
Wouldn't this also cause a fire problem as you mentioned before?
