In my experience, is is a good idea to run a separate feed from your service box to your stereo gear, three pronged and with proper earth ground.My fire fighting buddies have put out lots of fires where people thought things were properly wired and grounded.
Have them use hospital grade plugs so you have optimum wiper contacts.
