Copper foil is not a good shielding material : it blocks approx. 1/3 of the RFI and reflects 2/3. However, it is excellent for setting up a Gd. plane. The best shielding material available is Texas Instruments' TI Shield material available from Percy in 12" wide sheet form in various thicknesses. T.I. says it blocks 98%+ of both RFI & EMI. It is easy to work with aircraft tin snips (Serrated jaws for non-slip cutting. For max effectiveness it must be grounded.Happy Listening !
