My Precision Fidelity Tube phono hotrodded buffered passive preamp runs a pair of Black Beauty ALPS pots 25k in value.
I have heard that new cermet pots might sound better, and some like the PEC carbon although they say it sounds like tubes....humm....
Any thoughts out there as to whether a stepped attenuator or a cermet pot might be the way to go?
