Thanks for the advice, I'm thinking of driving a Vifa 5" midbass directly coupled to an amp, while using a simple 1st order cross-over for the tweeter. This appeals to me because the Vifa midrange already has a smooth 2nd order roll off. The Vifa 5" gets a lot of praise here on AA as well as elsewhere. regards, Noam
