However, I use a tripod of Herbie's Big Fat Black Dot footers under my B&W Matrix 805's and their custom Sound Anchors speaker stands and find these particular compliant footers to be quite effective and rather transparent as compared to other "squishy" interfaces (they sound pretty darned fast while doing their voodoo).
