Re: I'm confused

Thanks for the clarification; since my corners are already used by subs, I have no way of fitting any corner traps anywhere in the room, only on the walls or ceiling. Does this mean I'm out of luck for low bass absorption?

If I have to use 6-8” thick panels on the wall to make up for this, I’ll just have to do without. There is no way I would have 8” thick panels hanging on the wall, that would stick them out into the room over a foot on all sides, man would that be ugly. As I said, I have never seen a single picture of anyone with panels this thick hanging on there wall, and for good reason, nobody would do such a thing. Ethan had some interesting things to say about tube traps, something to the effect of; they only work for a very limited narrow frequency, and to get the best performance maximum coverage of as much wall ceiling juncture is required. If this is so then Tube style traps are basically worthless unless you have about 8 of them stacked in every corner, yes?
