This is serious. If i "modded" the blades of some old sterling silver knives with a jewlers saw, do you think that would do a good job of replacing the cheap copper/gold plated plates that run between the speaker posts on my bi-wireable speakers? Or is a poor conductor relative to shielded 16-24 gauge silver wire? Oxyidation?
