I used Frost King rope caulk at Home Depot for ~$6.00/pk

One pack was enough to cover the baskets and magnets on the woofers of my old Khorns. It adheres well and is non-drying so you can pretty much forget about it once you put it on.

Clean the baskets with some Windex sprayed on a cloth and then wipe with a clean cloth with some alcohol. Once it dries, put on the rope caulk. When covering the magnet assembly, make sure not to cover the small vent hole.

I heard a slight, but noticable improvement on the tonality of the bass. For $6.00, it was a worthwhile tweak.

I also dampened the chassis of my other components with a combo of Dynamat Extreme and rope caulk with very noticable improvement in all aspects of the sound reproduction.
