I am in the midst of modifying the power supply of my SS power amp. Thus far I have doubled the PS major capacitors (10,000 increased to 20,000). I have since undertaken bypassing these caps with a 1,000 µf electrolytic, a 10 µf polypropylene, and a Russian made 0.1 µf teflon cap. Currently I am performing critical listening trying to discern the impact of these modifications.As a start I refer you to the attached link. I used this write up as the basis of my planned mods. Take a look around at some of the other topics on the sight. I found them to be a great help to me. YMMV
