...is the best way to go.But in the case of the ET8s, I don't intend to triamp, so the HP cap for the tweeter will be staying*, and since the active MR filter will be merely HP and not bandpass, the MR LP inductor* stays. This way we're rid of the huge 475uf MR HP cap and the LP woofer inductor.
PS. I pay no attention to the capacitance, inductance, or resistance (sort of) of cable I buy or build.
* of course, replaced eventually with a higher-quality brand/type
