The best sounding rectifiers I have heard are the Motorola GaAs (Gallium Arsenide) diodes once made by Motorola, who stopped production several years ago. Prior to that I used Hexfreds which are now quite economical and available thru the same sources or Digi-Key.Happy Listening !
