Replaced the stock 1N4007 rectifier diodes in my Marantz CDP with Cree Schottky SiC diodes and I'm getting so much bass and dynamics that it's almost unnatural sounding. Any suggestions for a softer, warmer diode that won't blow me out of my easy chair, maybe Fairchild Stealth or Vishay-Telefunkens? I want less noise and graininess, but I don't want to be overwhelmed by dynamics either. Many thanks.
