This may be true most of the time. But how do you then explain the cost no object amps out there that dont use bypass caps?? I think it has more to do with them not making a significant differance than the fact that it will cost $5 or $10 to a $10k amp. I think if the power supply is well designed and uses high quality parts to begin with, bypasses will not do much. But on less expensive components I guess they can be used as a sort of bandaid on lower quality lytics. But you have nothing to lose buy trying so by all means give it a shot!
