A cheap way to address noisy appliances is to plug them in to cheap surge protector power strips that also contain EMI/RFI filtering. This keeps much of the noise out of your house's wiring and reduces the level that your audio system filter has to deal with.I don't recommend these strips for the audio components, because they are made with flimsy brass strips for the power contacts and the light plastic or metal cases vibrate easily. However, they do help if used for things like clock radios with fluorscent displays, wall-wart-powered items that draw standby current, etc.
Now that these cheap surge protectors are sold based on swoopy styling (like sports shoes), you can find the out-of-fashion ones for sale cheap in places like Big Lots.
