I have my cdp and preamp on mdf/lead shelfs which sit on inner tubes. My amp is on an mdf/lead shelf that uses spikes/nails that go into the floor.
Should I also float my amp on an inner tube? This is more work than it sounds! I have a 60 lb. Macintosh MC150.
As a side note I found a very good tube, for me at least, at Target. It is a stringray 16x3 by Shwinn. The tube is made of thin material, unlike more industrial tubes.
Thanks!
