I borrowed a Blue Circle from a friend. Sounded great on my frontend, but made the amps sound dark (rolling off the extreme highs, perhaps, or at the very least restricting dynamics.)One choice is DIY a Risch conditioner (what I'm going to do) for source components, or diycable's version of the Risch filter (I may end up just buing the board and components from Kevin to make things easy, and he's great to deal with.)
Another design is the Power Wing from Alan Kafton. I got to listen to it in a system at VSAC and CES, and it's very nice.
