look at Doede's schematics - where he has drawn the battery source split into 3 separate directions for the inputs, that's where you want to put the capacitors, right between those three sets of plus and minus 12V runs to the inputs. I use a single 10,000uF between battery and where the circuits separate, then some 47uF and smaller bypass caps in each of these, with a 1000uF added to the circuit that feeds the DAC tower (and demands by far the most power).You can do all this on a small project board, or as I did it on my first DDDAC just with some point-to-point wiring and hotglue to hold the stuff safely together.
