you connect it all to the battery anode, ideally all of them decoupled from each other by a fwe large caps between battery and PCB. That's not on his schematics, but it's pretty simple to DIY.Or, just use separate batteries, as he suggests for "purists" to do. They cost a few bucks.
The chassis does not need to be el;ectrically connected to the DAC at all.
