I wish you the best for the holidays as well.Bass issues like those can be corrected by moving (a few inches only!) your listening position and the speakers. You have measured a bass bump probably in one location of the room. In another location, you would measure something else. Have you tried to play a continuous 100Hz test tone and walk around in the room? It's full of surprises.
I would try moving the speakers first. The good rule of thumb is to position your speakers so that the distance between their center and the front wall is 3/4 the distance between their center and the side wall (or the opposite, or 1/3 the distance).
Moving your speakers a few inches back and forth might lead to the result you want.
