Re: Diffusion

Thanks Pete, you've given me something to chew on. Re: your statement about there being no such thing as too much diffusion. At the extreme end of this scale you get total absorption. Remember as you bounce sound off stuff some gets transmitted to the object (absorbed). Bounce sound around too much (overly diffused) and it gets absorbed. But I admit that would be an extreme case of diffusion!

Unfortunately the room is already built and is a long way away from the electrical box so there won't be any dedicated AC. I will be removing some electrical noise from the circuit though. The room has a couple lighted light switches that seem to cause a bit of noise. I'll be replacing those with standard switches. I may do an outlet or two as well. It's already wired for 15A service and it's a separate breaker too, so it sorta comes pre-wired (though I would have run two 20A services instead of 1 15A, but it's a lot better than found in most houses).
