It's interesting what you said about Polycrystal cones. I also find their effects to be more "subtle," but I believe they are more linear and neutral than many others you mention, including BDR cones.For something that is just as neutral but even more effective, I can heartily recommend DH labs cones, which I believe to be the most neutral cones/footers around.
A comparison to the old faithful, Symposium rollerblocks with Tungsten carbide bearings would have been illuminating also.
Would you make a comment about the Osiris stand? I actually have one sitting on my floor, but I haven't used it yet. I'm out of sand :)
