[ My first thought was to treat first order reflections on the one wall, given the L-shape of the room, there is no opposite side wall nearby.
Should I treat the distant wall? ]Probably not, but placement of a room lens type device in that location might make more of a difference, and tend to balance things out.
[ I was also considering bass traps for the two corners, again, the L-shape places the other corners quite far away. Should they be treated to? ]
Yes, all the corners of a room contribute to the bass modes, and so, they should all be treated. Actually, an L shaped room probably should have a full set of floor to ceiling traps in each corner, if possible.
[ Finally, I though about treating the area directly behind the two front speakers. What about the rear wall? ]
The rear wall usually seems to work best with a diffusor instead of an absorber, but give that your room is highly reflective, you may gain more with an absorber than a diffusor.
Even though you have expressed the fact that you do not wish to DIY, I would still read my DIY acoustics notes, they have tips about treatments, and call out retail items as well.
