Tweaks for systems, rooms and Do It Yourself (DIY) help. FAQ.

Start with easy and cheap and versatile

Before you invest in the expensive stuff (and all those pads are not cheap!) try some easy and inexpensive test tweaks.

Simplest, easiest and cheapest I know of is just to buy some bales of fiberglass insulation and put them in corners. Move them, stack them, unstack them - experiment. The result will tell you if bass traps (SQ&D or otherwise) will do something appreciable for you.

Another cheap one for the opposite end of the freq scale is to use the little 1" felt dots in ceiling corners for HF and echo control.

Inexpensive, but requires a little drilling skill are room lens clones.

I've used all of these to good effect. If you find something that works, then you can decide if you'll need to just adjust them cosmetically or need to invest in better looking commercial products. I have no doubt that many of teh commercial originals of the above stuff work better than these cheap tweaks, but you can start here. As to WAF, well..... I hide my fiberglass bales under tables and behind chairs. My wife also doesn't see the felt dots (almost the ceiling and wall colors and small). She does see the room lens clones and complains about them periodically even though they're white PVC and not really bad looking. Can't win 'em all!
