The UF4007 diode is an ultra-fast diode, but is it a soft recovery type of diode? What is the speed of the UF4007 anyways?
This is for a pre-amplifier, and the voltage from the transformer is 115VAC, and the voltage after rectification is 258VDC. Current loading is no more than 1.5A.
Are there better diodes than the UF4007?
Thanks!
