15 KVA is awfully big. There will be a big inrush current (until the core saturates) when you turn it on which may cause your branch circuit breaker to trip (assuming you're going to have it on a 120V 15A or 20A branch circuit).I'd be inclined to find something in the 1.5 to 2 KVA range, but the best way to determine size is to add all of the loads that you plan to connect.
Also, make sure the receptacles you connect the secondary side to are GFCI protected. See NEC article 647 for more info.
