Believe it or not I have better things to do than go through life with a yellow flag in my back pocket, ready to penalize . . . but something wasn't right here. 'No hidden agenda. My system is posted and I own Symposium products; I like the products, but that's as far as it goes. From the various comments below, from the Bored and others, I'm not off the wall -- this isn't a typical group buy. Fred Volz says it well.Another consideration: Audio Asylum could unwittingly find itself at risk as a result of an activity like this. Imagine a scenario where, hypothetically, something like this (knowingly or unknowingly) gets into an area of patent infringement or some form of unfair competition . . . not to say that's happening in this case let's assume for purposes of discussion that it were to happen. . . . By allowing something like that to take place within its bandwidth, Audio Asylum could be viewed as facilitating the activity -- and find itself involved in a legal dispute . . . as a witness, or even as a defendant . . . no kidding -- and no one wants that! The Bored and Moderators don't need it. So, even if none of the participants would ever mean it this way, this sort of activity, taking place within Audio Asylum, is a potential threat to the forum. The forum shouldn't risk that.
