Hi there,Say you are need the values 0.47uF for one pair of monoblock amplifiers that serve treble AND midrange duty, and that 200V rating is more than adequate (line-level input).
Will over-specing to 450V or 600V rating result in any sonic improvement?
The price and physical size of the capacitors double at 600V (triples at 1500V).
The application is DC-blocking / coupling at the line-level input for an amplfiier.
I am choosing between the Auricap or the TRT DynamiCap.
I will be doing the same to the OTHER pair of monoblock amplifiers for bass, but with 1.0uF value instead. I am probably going for the Auricap for the bass monoblocks as the TRT DynamiCaps seem to be optimized for the mid-range and the high frequencies.
Comments and suggestions, anyone?
Many thanks in advance!
