the bolts and plates interfere in the magnetic
field of the transformers, which like to have
the donut hole free... ;-)i've been using my 2 stereo amps without any bolt
and plate, and each of them has 2 big transformers,
one for each channel; i did the same to my preamp transformerif you treat the units with care and REMEMBER the transformers
don't have any bolt when you move them, you will be safe;
anyway, the weight of the transformers, together with the input and
output cables provide them with some support, so they are not
really loose inside the unitsbest, paco
