Al,
There is a blue plastic coated disc that is across the leads at the power switch--parallel to the switch. The service manual lists it with the following part# and specs: 17-40CR472M, AC CAP, 472/400V.I've been assuming that this disc is some sort of capacitor that limits power up surges. Am I correct?
