Just purchased the epoxy and awaiting the paint to dry. If after trying these wood base rollerblocks and I like what they do, I will consider metal bases for the next set. Curious, have you found readily available polished cups anywhere? I purchase OXO round measuring spoons. The OXO spoons were the closest I could find to match what Symposium uses. These spoons are round and polished but are hard to find singularly. If I like the DIY rollerblocks, I would like to try them under the other gear. Unfortunately all of my gear (Proceed) will require small plates to mate up with the rollerblocks. The Proceed gear chasis bottom is very solid and rigid, just not ideal because of the vent slits and roughish surface. I will post what I think of them, especially on top of the Syposium clone platforms.
Thanks again,
cdc
