You need to plan out something as radical as this before you start pulling parts out and doing stuff you obviously don't know how to do. You seem upset that no one is jumping forward to bail you out? Question one is has anyone ever done this? If not, how can you expect to get much help? I just redid my MC240 with new parts and have tried a few tweaks. I can talk about those in relation to your MC275. It's called trying to improve an existing design. But a SET conversion seems a fools journey, unless your an extremely talented tube guy...and it sounds like your not (no offense meant....neither am I).
