I tried #3 Vibrapods on a ceramic tile under Meadowlark Shearwaters and liked the results, but the 'pods started melting! I learned from Sam Kennard of Vpod that a chemical in the fiberboard causes the 'pods to liquify. Apparently, the melting effect is limited to Meadowlarks.Where I really found the Vibrapods to work great was under the mid/tweeter units of the Aerial 10T. By decoupling the upper modules from the vibrating woofer box, the focus really sharpened up. The same improvement might hold true for small speakers situated on top of subwoofers, which a number of DIY systems seem to feature.
