You can take it 2 ways
1) That NOT isolating speakers makes for a mechanical ground in respect of the fact that the floor/speaker interface will tend to wick away cabinet resonaces (To lets say a concrete floor)
2) Isolation of the speakers will NOT allow resonances to wick away to something that CAN resonate in sympathy or act like a sounding board (wood floors with a crawl space)
Problems that will arise with your method are instability and the fact that you might find it impossible to level and get the correct tilt (in all directions) with a jiggly thing like an inner tube
