I thought I saw this posted somewhere, but all searches have turned up zip: Can anyone speak to the suitability of Shielded Twisted-pair network cable as a speaker cable? Specifically, cable spec'd to IBM Type 9 standard; two shielded twisted pairs of teflon (I think) insulated solid core copper. The shielded twisted pairs are also twisted, and I think there's another layer of shielding around the whole thing. I thought I saw this suggested somewhere as a good speaker cable, but I don't remember where, and I don't really have the time, or finger callouses, to braid my own cat-5's, although I like the idea. Thanks!
