Your welcome. Oops!! Sounds like you already addressed the Lexicon issue. You might also want to try some different cables in your system. Check out the Cardas and Harmonic Technology cables in particular. They may be just what you are looking for. Whatever you do, don't give up on the 3.3's!! Although they are ruthlessly accurate and a royal pain in the ass to set up and move about, they are also capable of delivering world class reference caliber sound.Ken
PS: Sounds crazy, but make sure the 3.3's are wired in phase relative to each other! After purchasing my 3.3's, I was initially disappointed in their performance, bass in particular. Turns out that the speakers were wired up opposite of each other... Reversed leads to each driver of one speaker and haven't looked back since.
