Does this mean that a transformer with an output of 24V is "within reason?" And, does the "mA" reading have any bearing on transformer selection? I ask because I've been casually looking around for an appropriate transformer and most seem to be 24V. Also most that I've found don't have a "mA" reading and McCormack's measures 22VAC/500mA. I'd really like to build a new PS but, being an absolute electronic neophyte idiot, I don't want to blow the unit. Help??
