High pass filter for my rumbling turntable....

64.10.41.51

Hey guys I've gotten into vinyl fairly reccently and tho there are many positives (tonality, soundstaging, imaging, warmth) there are definitely some drawbacks (at least with my limited exposure to vinyl) those being: Hiss, locating decent cheap vinyl, limted selection (at least in toronto), work effort (cleaning vinyl everytime you play, getting up every 20 mins to flip sides) and the ultra low rumble my cheapie tt produces ( < 20hz ). I notice this through the serious excursion of my Dynaudio woofers even during dead silent passages and lead-in grooves, and have been told it's a function of my cheapie TT's (technics SL 20) motor and less than flat vinyl. However one solution mentioned was to create a high pass filter centred on a very low range (18hz?). I was wondering if any such designs were floating around there of if it's really simple if someone could just furnish me with such a design. I am an electrical engineering student, but just in first year so I know a bit about RL and RC circuits but am not confident in my skills to come up with a design but probably could follow one of yours competently enough.

Thanks.
