I haven't used a room lens, however i have used padding on my walls and ceilings. They work great. My walls behind my Maggies is all padded and I have a curtain coming down from the ceiling between them that forms an alcove for the TV. It also keeps the backwave of each speaker from reaching the other for better imaging. On the ceailing you'll find BASS! Most people never know that that is where much of our bass hides but there it is none the less. Side walls when padded will improve imaging, backwall depth. I started padding my rooms because one day someone pointed out that from where they were seated they could hear a reflection from a closed door. I padded the door and it went away. That started me off on padded and what it could do.Good Luck, bobwire
