I used to have a set of AR "Holographic Imaging" M4 speakers. I got a signifigant improvement in sound quality by replacing the caps on the crossover boards with higher quality replacements. Both Parts Express (at www.sonicfrontiers.com) and Michael Percy have various types of caps you can use.Allan
