Thanks, my suspician is that, within reason, wire is wire. I do believe that silver and copper have distinctive sounds, but beyond that, I don't believe that wire is a place to spend mega $$$. I have heard very good things about the Cardas wire however and the price is reasonable. I do want a shielded cable however due to its use. Michael Percy does not offer pre-terminated Cardas wire...I thought he did also, but was disappointed to find otherwise the last time I ordered from him...he is a VERY good guy however and I always prefer to order from him. I believe that Welborne Labs offers terminated Cardas wire and that is the route I will probably go.If anyone wants to offer further opinions, ideas, please speak up.
