You can't go wrong with a Fluke (say an 87 series). It's what most pro's use for a rugged digital handheld. It's not about accuracy or features or things like that. The tech weenie market speaks. They do cost more though, but will probably outlive you. For an analog meter (still very useful), Simpson or AVO are the equivalent of the Fluke in regard.
