What is more offensive- baseless net-hype or a baseless counter-reaction to it?Even if you do not think the Tjoeb is the best sub-$600 CDP, if you have heard it you COULD NOT question it's value at that price. Compared to what else is out there, it is above average to outstanding for the price. Every review I have seen has re-inforced this, with the lone exception of one or two people like you crying "this is all just hype", but not providing any first hand impressions of the sound of the CDP.
If a friend or my parents had $550 to spend on a CDP - I would suggest the Tjoeb as a first choice - that's my opinion from listening to one for over 1000 hours.
All I can base your comments on are the fact that you have not reported hearing the Tjoeb though you strongly critique it, and that you think UPS is the greatest delivery service on earth. Two strikes there IMO pal.
