What does the Toe Jab do? It has a tube output to color the sound, this is hardly some magic or good idea....use tube preamps and amps if the distortion of tubes is your pleasure..Dynaco had a tube CD player, where are they now, with such a breakthrough? It's some marketing plan that works..anybody ever read the specs on this ToeJab thing....I haven't seen any...it's a Philips/Marantz with a colored sound...what is the point? A good DAC imparts no sound of it's own, just what is recorded on the disc....
