I own both the CDM7 (old model) and the CDM1SE. The CDM7's are fantastic, were the CDM1SE's are very bright and sharp.Obvioulsy I have the values for the CDM7 cross over but also have it for the older CDM1's.
My understanding is that a first order cross over like on the non SE models are more accurate than the new second order cross overs.
If I can get the CDM1SE's to be as pleasant and accurate as the CDM7's with the added advantage of being a small box I will be happy.
